Description

Established in 2015, TEDxTarragona is one of Spain’s most prominent TEDx events, organized under the official TED license. We had the privilege of designing the 10th edition of TEDxTarragona, themed «Miralles.” which means “Mirrors” in Catalan. The concept for the visual direction was deeply inspired by mirrors and their unique ability to reflect both literal and metaphorical aspects of our lives. Mirrors serve as tools for introspection, prompting us to consider how we perceive the world around us and how our perceptions shape our experiences.
In developing the visual theme, we employed a “cubistic” and fragmented mirror approach, which allowed for exploring multiple angles and perspectives. This technique was intended to symbolize the diversity of personal viewpoints and experiences, illustrating that our understanding of life is often multifaceted and complex. By presenting this concept visually, we encouraged the audience to reflect on their perceptions and consider how they interpret the events and circumstances in their lives. Ultimately, the design sought to provoke thought and foster a more profound connection among the attendees through shared reflections and experiences.
The visual concept for the campaign was utilized in the stage design, promotional materials, and social media communications. All photography credits belong to Dani Legaz.
